LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, is hiring a Full-Time Assistant Manager to lead in the absence of the Store Manager and drive key metrics in a busy optical retail setting.

The role requires an active state Opticianry license, 1+ year of supervisory experience, and strong English communication. You will train teams, staff the store, maintain visual standards, and ensure compliance, while delivering exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current & valid state Opticianry license.
• 1+ year(s) management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes & policies.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators.
• Must have a strong command of the English language for all written correspondence & oral communication.
• Strong communicator & listener.
• Demonstrated high-level of selling skills.
• Proven ability to problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality & improvement to meet KPIs including comps, sales, conversion, and customer counts.
• Supports the store manager in diagnosing the business and driving results across Retail, Lab & Doctor.
• Leads recruiting and staffing to build a strong talent pipeline.
• Provides training and guidance to team members with timely feedback.
• Maintains store appearance and adherence to policies; ensures a safe work environment.
