The Licensed Optician helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs, delivering legendary customer service and high-quality eyewear that exceeds expectations.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers and set expectations
• Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses
• Lead in optical knowledge and assist with complex product needs
• Take measurements, adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail
• Use technology accurately and efficiently, maintain product knowledge
• Explore root causes of issues, ensure customer satisfaction
• Multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Achieve results on KPIs and competencies
• Maintain store appearance and safety practices
• Be resourceful, self-motivated, and committed to learning
• Adhere to company policies on discounts, promotions, and inventory

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• State Licensure
• Optical dispensing experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of current merchandise and fashion trends
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems
• Comfort with technology and change

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service and retail experience
