Care Initiatives is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to join Heritage Specialty Care in Cedar Rapids, IA. This role leads day-to-day SNF operations, drives quality care, staff development, and resident outcomes within a nonprofit multi-site healthcare system.

You will oversee operations, foster collaboration and a patient-centered culture, and partner with the Administrator and department heads to achieve care excellence while maintaining compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Active Iowa NHA license in good standing or ability to activate in IA.
• Proven leadership experience in skilled nursing.
• Ability to build relationships with staff and residents with professionalism and empathy.

Care Initiatives is now hiring a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to join our team at Heritage Specialty Care, a 171 bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa!

Heritage Specialty Care has a CCDI unit. This site became Seasons Memory Care Certified in 2026. In June 2026, we continued our investment in Heritage Specialty Care via welcoming a diversified healthcare leader into our newly created role of Assistant Administrator. The intent of the Assistant Administrator is to collaborate with the Administrator and department heads on goals and initiatives, further strengthening the entirety of the leadership team while promoting positive outcomes, helping drive culture, and intentionally focusing on customer service excellence. Now that our Assistant Administrator has completed training, onboarding, and had an opportunity to get their feet under them, we're in the best position to welcome aboard an experienced and engaged LNHA to join our Heritage Specialty Care team in Cedar Rapids. • Ability to build relationships and lead a team through change with professionalism and empathy.
