Job summary

Elizabeth City Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead daily operations and drive the facility toward its mission. The role requires coordinating clinical, managerial, and custodial teams and ensuring they work together to provide high-quality resident care.

Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills are essential, with NC licensure and at least two years in an administrator role.

Qualifications

• Must hold NC LNHA license.
• Minimum two years of experience as an administrator.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facility operations and align with long-term goals.

Job description

Elizabeth City Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to become a part of our team!Responsibilities include:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the facility and keep the organization on track for its long term goals and mission
• Coordinate and provide leadership to each clinical, managerial, and custodial team, and ensure that they work together effectively
• Oversee and manage staff and employees at every level
• Ensure the facility operates in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure residents' individual care plans are being followed
• Provide regular safety and compliance training
• Create and maintain a budget
• Oversee billing and set fees
• Act as the 'face' of the organization to the governing board, the public, and residents' families; and as a liaison between staff, residents, and families

Qualifications:

• Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in North Carolina with a minimum of two years' experience as an Administrator
• Proven history of successful leadership
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
