Job summary

Atrium Centers is seeking a licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead operations in a healthcare facility. You will supervise nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop resident-centered care plans while managing budgets and resources.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate with social workers to meet residents' emotional needs. This is a hands-on, on-site leadership position within an employee-owned organization.

Qualifications

  • Current state Licensed Nursing Home Administrator required.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience managing a healthcare or long-term care facility.
  • Proven experience in operations management within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong supervisory skills with a focus on team development and performance management.
  • Knowledge of resident rights, care plans, and nursing home regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of facility operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Supervise nursing staff and support personnel to maintain high standards of care.
  • Ensure facility compliance at both federal and state levels, including routine inspections.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
  • Promote resident rights, respect, and dignity.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and staffing to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with social workers to address residents’ emotional and social needs.
  • Implement staff training programs on best practices in care techniques.
  • Foster a positive environment that encourages resident engagement and participation.
