Overview

Licensed Nursing Assistant, LNA
Post Anesthesia Care Unit
Full-time, 3x12 hour shifts, with rotation
Eligible for $7,500 Sign-On bonus (external candidates only), paid in 3 installments.
Performs patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary for patient comfort and personal needs. Assists nursing staff with various duties. Has direct access to drug products and secure medication locations, managing storage, handling, and disposal of medications according to policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine patient care activities under RN supervision, including ADLs, obtaining clinical data (vital signs, heights, weights), collecting specimens, performing point-of-care testing, and recording results.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by keeping hallways clear, emptying linen bags, etc.
• Assist visitors and answer telephones.
• Support new coworkers in learning department procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Keyboarding skills and familiarity with computers required.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.

Licensure/Certifications

• Licensed Nursing Assistant in NH required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.

FTE/Hours: 0.90 (36 hrs/week), rotating shifts.
