Wildewood Skilled Nursing & Therapy in Oklahoma City is seeking a licensed nurse (RN or LPN) for a PRN position to join a supportive, well-structured team that values compassionate patient care and professional growth. Responsibilities include administering medications, taking vitals, monitoring residents, updating care plans, wound care, and coordinating with families and physicians.

Candidates must hold an Oklahoma LPN or RN license and have 1+ year of SNF/LTC experience.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma LPN or RN license (unencumbered).
• 1+ year experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long Term Care setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Observe residents and report significant changes.
• Take vital signs and assess health status.
• Inform family and physician of changes in condition.
• Modify care plans and ADL documentation as needed.
• Prepare and administer injections and enemas.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters.
• Provide wound care.

We are seeking to add a Licensed Nurse (RN or LPN) to our team for PRN!

Responsibilities and Purpose

• Obtain and administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
• Observe residents and record significant conditions and reactions. Notify appropriate parties of residents’ change in condition and reaction to drugs, treatments and significant incidents.
• Take vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of residents.
• Keep residents’ family and physician informed of any changes in resident behavior, medications or conditions of health.
• Modify residents’ care plan, care directives, Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Nurse Aide flow sheets in conjunction with residents’ changes in condition.
• Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters.
• Provide wound care.

Required Experience and Education

• Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) License OR Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• 1+ years of experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long Term Care environment.
