Job summary

Koelsch Communities’ Maple Glen memory care facility seeks an enthusiastic LPN/RN to join the Resident Services team on a part-time basis. New grads welcome. 3-11s, 2 days per week, earning $36-$39/hour depending on experience.

PRN shifts available with comprehensive benefits for full-time staff. The role involves nursing care, medication administration, and collaboration with departments to uphold high resident standards.

Qualifications

• Current registration as Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois.
• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire.
• Must pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations.
• Must have ability to gain CPR/First-Aid certification as needed in accordance with policy.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents.
• Administer medications and assist with treatments.
• Assess resident needs, evaluate responses to care, and document this nursing process.
• Follow standards of nursing conduct and standard practice.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

You are a licensed healthcare professional who has a passion behind your practice! You safely provide nursing care to residents, administer medications, and work closely with all departments to achieve the highest standards for resident assistance and independence. We offer a cutting-edge EHR System to save nurses time!

What you'll do:

• Perform non-invasive resident treatments
• Perform medication administration and assistance
• Assess resident needs, evaluate responses to care, and document this nursing process through charting by exception
• Follow standards of nursing conduct and standard practice
• Perform other duties as assigned
