Koelsch Communities’ Lakeview memory care is seeking an enthusiastic LPN to join our Resident Services team. New nursing grads are welcome to apply.

This part-time opportunity includes NOC shifts from 11 PM to 7 AM every other weekend, with day and afternoon shifts as needed, all within a supportive memory care environment. You will provide nursing care, administer medications, and collaborate with multiple departments to uphold high standards of resident assistance and independence.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois LPN license and registration.
• Drug-free and willing to pass drug screening on hire and routinely.
• Ability to pass criminal background checks as required by state regulations.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification as needed per policy.
• Strong communication with residents, families, staff, vendors and public.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive resident treatments.
• Administer medications and provide assistance with meds as needed.
• Assess resident needs and document nursing care through charting by exception.
• Maintain standards of nursing conduct and practice.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

You are a licensed healthcare professional who has a passion behind your practice! You safely provide nursing care to residents, administer medications, and work closely with all departments to achieve the highest standards for resident assistance and independence. We offer a cutting-edge EHR System to save nurses time!

What You'll Do

• Perform non-invasive resident treatments
• Perform medication administration and assistance
• Assess resident needs, evaluate responses to care, and document this nursing process through charting by exception
• Follow standards of nursing conduct and standard practice
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Current registration as Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN ) in the State of Illinois
• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
• Must have ability to gain CPR/ First-Aid certification as needed in accordance with company policy and applicable state rules and regulations
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public
