Job summary

Marquis Companies seeks a Licensed Nurse (LVN/RN) for the evening shift at our California facilities. This role administers medications, collaborates with the nursing team, and supports resident care.

We offer full-time, part-time and on-call positions with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) and education assistance. Experience with geriatric populations and strong computer skills for EMR are valued, and licensure in the appropriate state

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN or LVN for the appropriate State.
• Experience in a healthcare setting with geriatric population preferred but not required.
• Strong computer skills for use of our electronic medical records system.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, nurse supervisor, charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services.
• Refill and clean the stock cart.
• Administer medications in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures and practices of the facility and state requirements.
• Direct the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Assistants and plan shifts, services, programs and activities.

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) you will be responsible for the administering of medications to the residents as ordered by the attending physician, the nurse supervisor, charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services. Job duties include (but are not limited to) administering medications to residents; refilling and cleaning the stock cart; administering medications in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures and practices of the facility and the requirements of the state; and other nursing duties as assigned.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), your nursing and Leaderships skills will ensure that quality nursing care is provided to the residents and you will direct the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Assistants. Job duties include meeting with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan the shifts’ services, programs, and activities.

Qualifications
