Martha & Mary in Bremerton, WA is seeking a licensed nurse (LPN or RN) for our Bay Vista Commons assisted living community. The role blends direct resident care with leadership and administrative duties to support safe, compassionate care for seniors.

Starting wages range from $31.00 to $36.99 for LPN and $35.00 to $41.16 for RN per hour, with schedules offering 3-12 hour shifts or 4-8 hour shifts. Washington licensing is required; dementia care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: LPN or RN required.
• Must hold an unencumbered Washington State Nursing License.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; geriatric/ Assisted Living preferred.
• Experience with dementia care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Resident care, including assessments and care plan adjustments; coordinate with physicians and social workers.
• Clinical leadership: assist staff training, monitor resident wellness, ensure infection control and policy compliance.
• Quality assurance: conduct medication cart audits, assist in incident investigations, provide clinical reports.
• Administrative duties: manage admissions, transfers and discharges; notify state authorities of significant incidents.
• Team support: collaborate with nursing team for staffing, on-call duties, PRN coverage.
• Resident interaction: safety checks, room evaluations, and maintaining a safe, comfortable living environment.
