Job summary

Horizon Specialty Hospital-LasVegas in Las Vegas is seeking a licensed Practical Nurse to deliver compassionate nursing care. You will work with the nursing team to assess, plan, and implement patient care according to standards and physician orders.

The role requires 1+ year acute care experience, active LPN/LVN licensure, and BLS; IV certification is required, especially for NV or hire conditions. This is a full-time day/night shift opportunity with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN or LVN in good standing with the state.
• 1+ year of nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• IV certification required; for non-NV candidates, IV course curriculum upon hire.

Posted Salary Range

USD $29.00 - USD $36.00 /Hr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Works under direct supervision using the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, Practice Guidelines and nursing judgment.
• Responsible for delivering nursing care to patients requiring care, collecting patient data, making observations and reporting pertinent information to the care of patients.
• Will also direct and supervise care given by other nursing staff members as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be a licensed LPN or LVN in good standing with the state (as required)
• 1+ years of nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• Must have BLS accredited from American Heart Association (AHA)
• Must have IV certification – if outside of NV, IV Course Curriculum is required upon hire
• Reliable transportation required
