Ideal candidates hold Indiana LPN or RN licensure, have at least one year in a medical office, and possess phlebotomy skills and immunization knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must have Indiana nursing license as an LPN (required) or RN (preferred).
• Minimum of one year experience in a medical office setting.
• Strong phlebotomy skills.
• Knowledge of childhood immunization schedules.
• Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely nursing care in the office setting.
• Follow provider orders to ensure timely care and results.
• Coordinate referrals, education, and follow-up care.
• Prepare for appointments by ensuring tests, supplies, and materials are ready.
• Take vitals, obtain patient information, reconcile medications, and perform tests as needed.
• Administer vaccines, draw labs, complete in-office testing, and make referrals as ordered.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, immunizations, and wellness.
• Keep patients updated on referrals and test results.
• Coordinate the Vaccines for Children program.
