Job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic LVN to join our Resident Services team at Arbor Hills memory care in Plano, Texas. New nursing graduates are welcome, with part-time shifts available from 7AM to 7PM on weekends.

Qualifications

• Current LVN license in TX
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check
• CPR/First-Aid certification as needed

Responsibilities

• Adhere to nursing standards and comply with policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support resident independence

Who you are:

You are a licensed healthcare professional who has a passion behind your practice! You safely provide nursing care to residents, administer medications, and work closely with all departments to achieve the highest standards for resident assistance and independence. We offer a cutting-edge EHR System to save nurses time!

What you'll do:

• Perform non-invasive resident treatments
• Perform medication administration and assistance
• Assess resident needs, evaluate responses to care, and document this nursing process through charting by exception
• Follow standards of nursing conduct and standard practice
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Current registration as Licensed Vocational Nurse ( LVN ) in the State of Arbor Hills
• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
• Must have ability to gain CPR/ First-Aid certification as needed in accordance with company policy and applicable state rules and regulations
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public
