Job summary

Qualifications

• NMLS License Required under the SAFE Act of 2008.
• 2 years of experience in loan origination or Loan Officer Assistance.
• Knowledge of conventional and/or government guidelines.
• Knowledge of processing, underwriting and/or closing procedures and federal lending regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interviews borrowers to analyze financial and credit data and advise on financing options.
• Determine borrower objectives and recommend appropriate loan products.
• Prepare and process forms and documents for residential loans and ensure compliance.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with applicants.
• Meet production goals and adhere to regulatory guidelines.
