Job summary

One Infinity Mortgage is seeking a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator to join our Fort Myers team in a hybrid, full-time role. We offer a $50k annual draw, monthly commissions, and a 401(k) with a strong benefits package, plus a platform that backs you with back-office support.

You’ll take loan applications from preapproval to closing, lock rates with wholesale lenders, gather documents, and cultivate relationships with realtors, builders, and referral partners across Southwest Florida.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Loan Originator license in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of residential mortgage origination experience.
• Proven ability to build and manage a self-sourced book of business.
• Comfort with hybrid work arrangement and meeting clients in Southwest Florida.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Take loan applications and guide borrowers from preapproval to closing day
• Lock rates with our wholesale lenders and keep clients informed at every step
• Collect and review documents so every file is complete before it goes to the lender
• Make regular sales calls and visits to realtors, builders and referral partners
• Host firsttime homebuyer seminars and events, using companyapproved, compliant marketing
• Show up where Southwest Florida does business: realtor events, open houses, broker caravans and community events like Cars on 5th
• Build referral relationships the right way, in line with RESPA
• Keep your pipeline moving in our loan origination system

YOU'RE A FIT IF YOU HAVE

• An active Florida Loan Originator license through NMLS, in good standing
• A home base in Florida, with Southwest Florida preferred (this is a hybrid role)
• At least 5 years of residential mortgage origination experience
• A verifiable pipeline and production averaging 3 or more closed loans per month
• Your own selfsourced book of business: realtors, builders, past clients and referral partners
• Working knowledge of agency, government, jumbo and nonQM guidelines
• A compliancefirst mindset, with a solid understanding of the SAFE Act, TILA and Regulation Z (including loan originator compensation rules), TRID, RESPA, ECOA and fair lending, FCRA, the GrammLeachBliley Act and Chapter 494, Florida Statutes
• Current annual NMLS continuing education, including the Florida law requirement
• The ability to move your NMLS sponsorship to One Infinity Mortgage

This position requires an active Florida Loan Originator license through NMLS. This position also requires passing a pre-employment drug screen. Offers are contingent on the drug screen, NMLS sponsorship approval and the background and credit review that licensing requires.
