Job summary

BPR Consulting Group LLC in California seeks a licensed Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineer to join our growing team. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available for qualified candidates.

The engineer will perform plan review and design evaluation and coordinate with architects and contractors. Applicants must hold a California PE in Mechanical or Electrical, have 2+ years of licensed experience on building projects, and be proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Licensed California Professional Engineer (PE) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• Two+ years of licensed MEP engineering experience on building projects.
• Experience interpreting and applying California Building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Energy Codes.
• Proficiency with engineering software tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or similar).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan review and analysis of MEP systems for compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• Prepare, review, and stamp engineering plans, specifications, and calculations.
• Coordinate MEP design and plan review activities with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and agency departments.
• Provide technical guidance and code interpretations to clients, contractors, and staff.
• Prepare clear and concise engineering reports, correspondence, and project documentation.
• Assist with project management responsibilities, including scheduling, budgets, and client communications.
