Job summary

New Directions Mental Health is seeking licensed mental health professionals to provide culturally informed outpatient therapy for individuals and families in Pennsylvania. You will conduct initial assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions.

The role involves case conferences, discharge planning, and ongoing documentation, with a commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Current and active PA professional license or eligibility by hire date.
• License to practice and ethical commitment to client confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and therapists.
