Job summary

New Directions Mental Health in Pennsylvania is seeking Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join a collaborative clinical team. You will conduct assessments, provide outpatient therapy, and contribute to crisis and treatment planning.

This role emphasizes culturally sensitive care, ongoing professional development, and coordination with psychiatrists, nurses, and dietitians to support client outcomes and systemic well-being.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, MFT, or related field.
• Current and active professional license (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) in Pennsylvania or eligible by the time of hire.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in mental health.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy tailored to client needs.
• Develop crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans.
• Actively participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms.
• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists.
