Visiting Wellness in New York is seeking Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs) and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) to provide teletherapy for children and adolescents in Queens, NY. The role supports part-time, per diem, or full-time caseloads and offers a flexible schedule.

Candidates must hold a NY LMHC or LCSW license, have strong clinical skills, and be able to work independently in a teletherapy setting with a focus on evidence-based practices and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active New York State LMHC or LCSW license in good standing required.
• Experience providing behavioral health services to children and adolescents.
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a teletherapy caseload.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience preferred.
• Spanish-speaking clinicians are strongly preferred.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including psychosocial history, symptoms, strengths, and treatment needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provide individual and family therapy using evidence-based approaches, including CBT, mindfulness-based interventions, and solution-focused therapy.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Collaborate with social workers, healthcare providers, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans.
• Maintain compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in training, supervision, and professional development as required.

We are currently seeking Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs) and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) to join our growing behavioral health team and provide teletherapy services to children and adolescents.

Job Summary

The LMHC/LCSW will provide evidence-based mental health services through teletherapy, including assessments, individualized treatment planning, and ongoing individual and family therapy. This is a flexible opportunity for clinicians looking to build a part-time, per diem, or full-time caseload.
