Visiting Wellness, a home-based rehabilitation provider, seeks a Pediatric Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC or LCSW) to deliver evidence-based mental health services to children in Florida homes, with flexible schedule and clinical support.

The role includes evaluations, treatment planning, individual and family therapy using CBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused approaches, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, while maintaining compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Active Florida LMHC or LCSW license in good standing.
• Experience providing therapy to children and adolescents.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to build rapport with families.
• Ability to work independently in a home health setting.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical direct therapy experience.

Job Summary

Visiting Wellness, a leading provider of home-based rehabilitation services, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LCSW) to join our growing behavioral health team. As a Licensed Therapist, you will provide evidence-based mental health services to pediatric and adolescent patients in their homes throughout Florida. Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents, including psychosocial history, symptoms, and strengths

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with patient goals and evidence-based practices

• Provide individual and family therapy using evidence-based modalities such as CBT, mindfulness-based approaches, and solution-focused therapy

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including social workers and other healthcare professionals

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with ethical and legal standards

• Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development opportunities

• Adhere to all ethical guidelines and professional standards of practice

Job Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution

• Active Florida State LMHC, LCSW, license in good standing — required

• Experience providing therapy services to children and adolescents — required

• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with children and families

• Ability to work independently in a home health environment

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience providing direct therapy services preferred

• Schedule Flexibility: Choose your own hours; day and evening availability available Monday through Friday, with weekend opportunities as needed
