Job summary

The Recovery Village Kansas City is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Raytown, MO, to provide evidence-based care in a residential setting. The role supports a physician-led facility within a national behavioral health network.

You will deliver individual, group, and family therapy, perform biopsychosocial assessments, and develop tailored treatment plans. Collaboration with medical and clinical teams ensures coordinated patient progress and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, MFT, or related field.
• Licensed in Missouri (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, LSW, MFTC).
• Experience with substance use and/or co-occurring disorders preferred.
• CPR and BFA Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy in a residential treatment setting.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate group sessions and psychoeducation.
• Collaborate with medical, psychiatric, and clinical teams to support patient progress.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation (with support from Heather AI).
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care.

Schedule: 8am to 430pm, one night during the week until 6pm.

• Sunday-Thursday

Salary Ranges: (Includes Additional Financial Incentives)

• Independently Licensed: $74,880 - $87,776
• Preliminary Licensed: $66,560 - $73,216

Job Duties
