Salary Range: $64,719.20 - $68,759.60 per year

Sun River Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team at our Sydney Baer location in New York. As part of the largest community health network in New York State, you will provide high-quality care to a diverse population, addressing a wide range of behavioral health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Services: Provide culturally sensitive clinical services including assessment and treatment planning, individual, family, and group psychotherapy, crisis counseling, and community consultation and education.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough and timely documentation of client progress, ensuring that all records are up to date according to established procedures.
• Treatment Coordination: Identify case management needs of clients and work collaboratively with other agency staff and community organizations to meet these needs.
• Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention as necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients in need.
• Program Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of behavioral health programs within the clinic.
• Clinical Supervision: Participate in regular clinical supervision to support ongoing professional development.
• Compliance: Follow established clinic policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to all professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Community Outreach: Engage in community outreach efforts to promote mental health awareness and services available at Sun River Health.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of New York.
• Prior experience in outpatient behavioral health settings is required.
• Strong commitment to community behavioral health.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and varied cultural experiences.
