Job summary

Thermon is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with a PE license to join our Precision Boilers engineering team in Morristown, TN. You will design, analyze, and certify pressure vessels, piping systems, and mechanical components in accordance with ASME BPVC and related codes.

You will lead projects from concept through fabrication, collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams, review calculations, drawings, and specifications, and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent technical background; Master's preferred.
• Active PE license in Tennessee or ability to attain quickly.
• 3–5 years of mechanical engineering experience focused on ASME code applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze mechanical systems per ASME BPVC and ASME B31.
• Prepare and review calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Lead or support pressure vessel and piping design projects from concept through fabrication.
