Job summary

Thermon in Morristown, TN, a leading boiler and heat equipment provider, seeks an Electrical Engineer to design control systems for gas fired, electrode and electric boilers. You will prepare schematics, BOMs, select components, and ensure NEC/NFPA/UL/CSA compliance.

With 5+ years in electrical engineering and CAD proficiency, you will work with cross-functional teams to support product development and service, maintaining UL files and assisting customers remotely or on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5+ years electrical engineering experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and ability to read drawings (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation).
• Proficient with CAD for creating/editing drawings; boiler industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical control systems and review existing control systems for boiler product lines.
• Prepare schematic wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and bills of materials.
• Ensure customer specifications meet NEC, NFPA, UL, CSA codes.
• Assist customers and service technicians remotely or on-site.
