Job summary

PM Pediatric Care in New York is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker to join the Behavioral Health Program. The role includes two schedule options: 5 days 1:00pm-9:00pm M-F or 4 10-hour days with varying shifts, with Saturday hours also available.

Part-time positions equal 20 hours per week and include benefits. The caseload is 30-35 patients weekly with a focus on evidence-based psychosocial care in primary care settings.

Qualifications

• Must hold an LMSW license.
• Experience in psychosocial assessments and counseling.
• Ability to manage a caseload and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychosocial assessments using evidence-based practices.
• Provide counseling and therapy using evidence-based modalities.
• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy.
• Complete required documentation and treatment plans promptly.
• Maintain a caseload of 30-35 patients weekly and at least 5 daily.
• Collaborate with patient, family and care team to overcome barriers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies.
• Demonstrate cultural competency and respond to urgent needs.

PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker to join our Behavioral Health Program. This opportunity will provide comprehensive behavioral health for the common conditions seen in primary care such as depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders in an extended primary care collaborative model.

Description

• Perform psychosocial assessments that comply with evidence based practices
• Providing counseling and therapy for patients using evidence based treatment modalities
• Display competency as an individual, family, and group therapist
• Maintain own professional development as required by licensing board
• Complete required documentation and paperwork, including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning and implementation in a timely manner
• Works closely with patient and family and team to overcome obstacles in treatment
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Demonstrates cultural competency and commitment
• Respond quickly to an urgent or emergent need
• Maintain a caseload of 30-35 patients weekly and a minimum of 5 patients daily

Compensation Range: $65,000-$70,000 (dependent upon experience & licensure)
