Job summary

PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker to join our Behavioral Health Program within a primary care framework in New York. The role emphasizes comprehensive behavioral health support for common conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders.

Two schedule options are offered: 5 days 1:00pm-9:00pm M-F or 4 ten-hour days with varied start times; part-time 20 hours/week with benefits. The compensation range listed reflects local pay practices.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Master Social Worker (MSW) in NY.
• Experience delivering psychosocial assessments and therapy is preferred.
• Demonstrates cultural competency and collaborative care in a primary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychosocial assessments using evidence-based practices.
• Provide counseling and therapy to patients using established modalities.
• Maintain documentation including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans.
• Work with patients, families, and the care team to overcome barriers to treatment.

PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker to join our Behavioral Health Program. This opportunity will provide comprehensive behavioral health for the common conditions seen in primary care such as depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders in an extended primary care collaborative model.

Description

• Perform psychosocial assessments that comply with evidence based practices
• Providing counseling and therapy for patients using evidence based treatment modalities
• Display competency as an individual, family, and group therapist
• Maintain own professional development as required by licensing board
• Complete required documentation and paperwork, including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning and implementation in a timely manner
• Works closely with patient and family and team to overcome obstacles in treatment
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Demonstrates cultural competency and commitment
• Respond quickly to an urgent or emergent need
• Maintain a caseload of 30-35 patients weekly and a minimum of 5 patients daily

Compensation Range: $65,000-$70,000 (dependent upon experience & licensure)
