Job summary

PM Pediatrics in New Jersey is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to conduct psychosocial assessments and provide individual, family, and group counseling for pediatric and adolescent patients. You will document care in a timely manner and collaborate with families and the care team to overcome obstacles.

The role requires NY/NJ licensure, 3,000 hours post-master experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work required.
• Minimum 3,000 hours of post-master social work experience qualifying for licensure.
• Experience with pediatric and adolescent populations.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of psychosocial aspects of illness and health.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong cultural competency and commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments using evidence-based practices.
• Provide individual, family, and group counseling/therapy for pediatric and adolescent patients (depression, anxiety, ADD, conduct disorders, etc.).
• Maintain clinical documentation, including biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the care team to overcome treatment obstacles.
• Maintain compliance with All company policies and procedures.
• Respond promptly to urgent or emergent patient needs.
• Manage a caseload of 15–20 patients weekly and at least 5 patients daily.

Schedule

• Full‑time: 5 days, 1:00pm–9:00pm, Monday‑Friday
• Full‑time: 4 days of 10‑hour shifts (2 days 11:00am–9:00pm, 2 days 8:00am–6:00pm)
• Part‑time: 20 hours per week (eligible for benefits)

Location & Licensure Requirements

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York or New Jersey
• Must hold both NY & NJ Medicaid provider numbers

• Base salary: $80,000 – $85,000 (based on experience and licensure)
