Job Title: LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST

Shift: Part-Time, Year Round Position; Variable Shifts

Weekends, holidays, and special events are required based on business needs

Rate of Pay: Commission plus gratuities (27%)

Reporting: Treatment Providers must report to work 30 minutes prior to first appointment.

On Call: Confirm your schedule beforehand. When on the schedule but without appointments, you are actively on call. Notification of booked appointments will be provided, with a response time of one hour or less required.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary

Support and promote the image, service, and standards of Sundance and the spa. Perform all massage and body treatments in a clean, safe, and relaxing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and check guests in and out warmly, exhibiting excellent customer service.
• Guide guests through their entire spa journey.
• Fulfill guest and management requests.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and comfort throughout.
• Attend educational events and meetings sponsored by the spa and Sundance.
• Communicate with management and team members regarding guest or service concerns.
• Punctual and consistent attendance and job performance.
• Maintain proper start/stop times for treatments as per protocols.
• Set the ambiance for relaxation.
• Perform foot soaks and all massage and body treatments as prescribed.
• Be knowledgeable of various massage modalities and spa body treatments.
• Promote body care products and understand their proper usage.
• Advise guests on body therapy and home care products.
• Restock and organize products and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms, equipment, and linen storage.
• Assist in moving and lifting liquids, stones, and linens.

Qualifications

• Must perform essential duties satisfactorily; accommodations may be made for disabilities.
• Associate's degree or equivalent, or 6 months to 1 year related experience/training.
• Certified Graduate from an accredited massage therapy school, Utah licensing, and national certification required.
• Minimum two years of spa experience as a licensed technician.
• Must be licensed by the State of Utah and nationally certified.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, hear, sit, reach, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
