Job Description

As a Licensed Massage Therapist, you will provide a range of massage services including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, therapeutic, hot stone and other modalities. By tailoring each session to the client's needs, you help clients feel supported and make informed choices about their care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, review relevant health information, and communicate clearly about preferences, comfort, and treatment goals.
• Provide massage therapy using appropriate techniques, such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, and prenatal massage when qualified and appropriate.
• Adapt sessions to support relaxation, pain management, and occupational health needs while respecting client boundaries.
• Follow hygiene and safety practices.
• Deliver attentive patient service and customer service, respond to client questions, and coordinate care within your scope of practice.

Skills

• Active massage therapist license required; current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification required or maintained as applicable to the role beneficial.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, patient assessment, and safe massage techniques.
• Strong client communication skills, sound judgment, and a respectful, client-focused approach.
