Duties

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and prenatal massage to meet individual client needs
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current symptoms, and specific goals
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain treatment plans, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout each session
• Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and client progress in compliance with health regulations and privacy standards
• Educate clients on self‑care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness or pain management
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols including CPR certification and proper sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills and service offerings

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in massage therapy
• Proven experience in providing various massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage treatments
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management strategies
• Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and deliver personalized care
• Experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is preferred but not required
• CPR certification is mandatory for safety complianceAbility to build rapport with clients while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
• Prior experience with customer service‑oriented roles that emphasize patient service excellence
