• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current conditions, and specific pain points.
• Communicate clearly with clients about treatment plans, expected outcomes, and aftercare instructions to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain detailed records of each session, including client progress and treatment notes in compliance with privacy standards.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in massage therapy and related fields such as physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to enhance service quality.
• Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and maintaining equipment properly.
• Promote client retention through excellent customer service, active listening, and personalized care approaches.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist with demonstrated proficiency in massage therapy techniques.
• Experience with a range of modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
• Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required to ensure client safety during treatments.
• Prior experience working in med spas or occupational health settings is advantageous.
• Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and provide compassionate care.
• Knowledge of pain management strategies and experience addressing complex musculoskeletal issues is highly valued.
• Minimum 1 year of deep tissue massage experience (Required).
• Valid Massage Therapy License (Required).
