Job summary

Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa at The Waverly Place in Cary, NC seeks licensed massage therapists to provide personalized therapies to our clients. Earn base pay per 50-minute service plus tips, with a strong support team for front desk sales and client referrals.

Positions are available part-time and full-time. We offer a $250 yearly license stipend, CE credits, discounts, healthcare options, paid time off after 1 year, and 401(k) after 90 days, plus a friendly team focused on healing.

Qualifications

• Active NC Massage Therapist license in good standing.
• Carry massage therapy liability insurance.
• Knowledge of Swedish Massage required.
• Knowledge of other modalities preferred (Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Trigger Point, Pre-Natal, Craniosacral, Reiki, Deep Tissue), but not required. Hand and Stone offers training in all modalities to our team members!

Responsibilities

• Customize treatment plans based on individual clients.
• Create an experience of peace and relaxation for members/guests/other spa professionals through a friendly and helpful approach.
• Generate return clientele by promoting member referrals and memberships.
• Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas within the spa.

Competitive Compensation:

base per 50-minute hands on service plus an average tip of $25.

• Able to communicate effectively with clients, spa management and staff.
• Knowledge of Swedish Massage required.
• Knowledge of other various modalities preferred (Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Trigger Point, Pre-Natal, Craniosacral, Reiki, Deep Tissue), but not required. Hand and Stone offers training in all modalities to our team members!
• Understand and believe in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.
