Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa at The Waverly Place in Cary, NC is seeking licensed massage therapists to join our team. Part-time and full-time positions available in a busy spa with a strong client base and supportive staff.

Competitive compensation includes base pay with tips, and opportunities for advancement, training, and benefits. Applicants should hold an active NC license and carry liability insurance.

Qualifications

• Active NC Massage Therapist license in good standing.
• Carry massage therapy liability insurance.
• Able to communicate effectively with clients, spa management and staff.
• Knowledge of Swedish Massage required.
• Knowledge of other modalities preferred (Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Trigger Point, Pre-Natal, Craniosacral, Reiki, Deep Tissue), but not required.
• Hand and Stone offers training in all modalities to our team members!
• Understand and believe in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.

Responsibilities

• Customize treatment plans based on individual clients.
• Create an experience of peace and relaxation for members/guests/staff with a friendly and helpful approach.
• Generate return clientele by promoting member referrals and memberships.
• Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas within the spa.
