Viva Day Spa + Med Spa is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist in Austin, TX. The role involves delivering therapeutic and relaxation-focused massages at our 35th Street location, with a focus on personalized guest wellness and premium hospitality.

You will combine technical expertise with empathy to support guest wellbeing, while upholding Viva’s standards of service, sanitation, and professionalism. This is a full-time on-site position with opportunities for growth and rewards.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Massage Therapy License required.
• Minimum 6 months of professional massage experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, body mechanics, and therapeutic massage techniques.
• Experience in luxury spa, hospitality, wellness, or resort setting preferred.

The Role

As a Licensed Massage Therapist, you'll help guests feel better inside and out through exceptional therapeutic and relaxation-focused massage experiences.

You will combine technical expertise, intuition, and genuine care to create personalized treatments that support guest wellness while delivering the hospitality and professionalism that define the Viva experience.

What You’ll Own

• Deliver exceptional massage services that meet Viva standards
• Customize treatments based on guest goals, preferences, and health considerations
• Build lasting guest relationships through trust, consistency, and professionalism
• Educate guests on treatment recommendations and wellness practices
• Maintain accurate treatment documentation; uphold sanitation & safety standards
• Contribute to retention, rebooking, and guest satisfaction goals
• Support a positive, collaborative team culture

Technical Qualifications

• Active Texas Massage Therapy License
• Minimum 6 months of professional massage experience preferred
• Strong understanding of anatomy, body mechanics, and therapeutic massage techniques
• Luxury spa, hospitality, wellness, or resort experience preferred
• Commitment to continuing education and professional growth

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move throughout scheduled shifts
• Ability to perform repetitive massage movements safely and effectively
• Ability to bend, reach, squat, twist, and lift up to 25 pounds
