Continuum of Colorado in Aurora, CO is seeking Licensed Massage Therapists to provide in-home therapeutic massage for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through our Home and Community Support program. You will assess needs and tailor therapy plans, with flexible scheduling and training provided.

Qualifications

• Active Massage Therapist license in Colorado.
• Two years experience and/or related education or training with persons with developmental disabilities.
• Knowledge of motor development and appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Ability to maintain training, certifications and licensure.
• Excellent oral and written communication; English proficiency; Spanish a plus.
• Valid Colorado driver's license and adequate motor vehicle insurance.
• Ability to meet physical demands and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home therapeutic massage to children and adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
• Collaborate on assessments and therapy plans tailored to each person.
• Adapt sessions to setting (table, chair, floor) based on individual needs.
• Coordinate with supervisors and case managers to identify needs and ensure compliance.

This role allows you to use your massage skills in a flexible, person-centered way, helping ease muscle tension, reduce spasms, improve mobility, and promote relaxation—while meeting individuals where they are most comfortable. Sessions are adaptable and may be held on a massage table, in a chair, on the floor, or another appropriate setting, according to the individual’s needs, preferences, and environment. You’ll also collaborate on assessments and therapy plans tailored to each person. No prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is required—we provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to help you feel confident and successful in this role.
