Job summary

Dietz & Company Architects in Cambridge, MA is seeking an Architect to lead project teams and advance their career in a collaborative studio environment. This is an in-person role with no remote options.

You will serve as primary client contact, direct the project team, prepare strategic plans, coordinate disciplines, and mentor junior staff while delivering multiple projects from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Must have a professional degree in Architecture.
• Must be a MA licensed Architect.
• 3+ years as a licensed Architect.
• Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficient knowledge of building science, sustainable technologies, construction methods, building code, and zoning principles.
• This position has a lot of autonomy so the desire to lead a team and the ability to manage complex project tasks is a must.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client contact for projects.
• Direct the project team and consultants for projects throughout all phases of design.
• Prepare strategic plans for project success.
• Coordinate the efforts of your project team.
• Management of a collaborative, integrated team structure for all phases of work.
• Lead and manage the production team in the completion of one or more projects simultaneously.
• Collaborate with company leadership to realize the creative vision of projects.
