McKim & Creed is seeking a Licensed Landscape Architect to join our Planning Development and Natural Resources group in Wilmington, NC. The role focuses on due diligence, design, planning, and collaborative problem solving in a supportive team environment.

The ideal candidate has a NC/SC/FL license, 5–10 years of land development experience, strong design and communication skills, and the ability to work independently or with peers on diverse municipal, commercial, and residential projects.

Qualifications

• Licensed landscape architect (NC/SC/FL) with active license.
• 5–10 years of experience in land development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean background.

Responsibilities

• Site analysis and evaluation of existing conditions to guide design and compliance.
• Design, planning, and preparation of site plans, landscaping, and drawings.
• Collaborate with project manager, client and team; present plans and review with agencies.
• Mentor junior staff and stay current with industry trends and regulations.
