Job summary

Harmony Design Group, a premier Landscape Architecture and construction firm in New Jersey, is seeking a seasoned and licensed Landscape Architect to join our leadership team. This role focuses on high-end residential projects and driving design excellence.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, a current license (NJ licensure preferred), 7–10+ years of experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.
• Ensure permit requirements and zoning regulations are met.

Compensation and Benefits for our Landscape Architect: We are offering a competitive compensation and benefits package including an annual salary of $95,000 to $115,000 dependent on experience.

Requirements for the Landscape Architect position

• A Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture;
• Current Landscape Architecture license (New Jersey licensure preferred);
• 7-10+ years of experience in landscape architecture;
• Experience using software such as AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Revit, Photoshop, etc. with the ability to read and create technical drawings including 3D renderings;
• Understanding of zoning requirements and permit procedures by town/state;
• Knowledge of products and materials, grading and drainage.

Responsibilities of the Landscape Architect position:

• Preparing landscape plans from conceptual design to final design, incorporating all components of a full landscape design plan;

• Experience working with and managing high-end residential clientele;

• Coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget;

• Acting as a strategic leader on our design/build team;

• Ability to mentor and train junior landscape designer professionals;

• Organizing and tracking all town and state permit requirements ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
