Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a Licensed Journeyman Electrician to provide field support for projects in the Mobile, Alabama area. The role involves installing or troubleshooting AC service and equipment, performing circuit modifications, and ensuring safety and quality standards across field projects.

The candidate will lead the Field Installation Team, coordinate with the Project Supervisor, and travel up to 75% to customer sites, primarily in a field setting in Mobile, AL.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–6 years of experience in a similar role.
• Must possess valid Electrical Journeyman License.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills.
• Ability to add or remove Common Systems equipment hardware and wiring.
• Familiarity with reading/interpretation of construction drawings for cell site work.
• Ability to prepare MOPs and JIMs and resolve drawing problems.
• Ability to perform in-process and final quality inspections and startup.

Responsibilities

• Install or troubleshoot A/C service and equipment to meet quality/safety standards.
• Perform additions, removals, and modifications on equipment and circuits.
• Modify circuits on power distribution sources and perform testing and turn-up.
• Maintain inventories and transport equipment to job sites.
• Coordinate with Project Supervisor on schedules, quality, and safety standards.
• Lead Field Installation Team and train interchangeability.
• Travel to customer project sites with 75% field work and on-site execution.
