Aerotek is hiring Licensed Journeyman Electricians for a contract-to-hire role based out of Fort Worth, TX. This fully onsite position supports a large-scale data center project with long-term stability and opportunities for overtime.

The role requires an active Journeyman Electrician license and experience with commercial/industrial electrical construction, reading blueprints, and coordinating with on-site teams.

QTS Data Center | Cedar Rapids, IA

High-Paying Data Center Opportunity | Overtime + Per Diem

A large-scale data center construction project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa is actively hiring Licensed Journeyman Electricians for long-term work. This is an excellent opportunity to join a mission-critical project offering competitive pay, consistent overtime, and daily per diem.

Travelers are welcome to apply if they hold a Journeyman Electrician license from a state with Iowa reciprocity.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $64.00/hour

• Schedule: 5 days per week

• Hours: 10 to 12-hour shifts

• Guaranteed Hours: 60-75 Hours a Week

• Overtime: Available weekly

• Estimated Weekly Earnings: $4,000+ per week

• Per Diem: $175 per day worked

Key Responsibilities

• Install, bend, and run EMT and rigid conduit

• Pull wire and perform electrical terminations

• Install switchgear, panels, lighting systems, and cable systems

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and components

• Work with low-voltage and medium-voltage systems

• Support large-scale commercial and industrial electrical construction activities

• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC requirements, project specifications, and safety regulations

• Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and other trades on site

• Maintain accurate documentation of installations, testing, and system modifications

Qualifications

• Active Journeyman Electrician License

• Commercial and/or industrial electrical construction experience

• Proficient in EMT and rigid conduit bending and installation

• Experience with terminations, panel work, and power distribution systems

• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Experience on large-scale construction projects required

• Data center experience preferred but not required

Candidates must possess a valid Journeyman Electrician license from one of the following reciprocal states:
