Job summary

Friedman Real Estate is seeking an experienced Licensed Journeyman Electrician to support our multifamily residential portfolio. This position is responsible for performing electrical installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance across apartment communities while ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable electrical codes.

Qualifications

• Current Journeyman Electrician license required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and applicable electrical codes.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems throughout multifamily properties.
• Install, repair, and replace electrical panels, breakers, outlets, switches, lighting, wiring, fixtures, and other components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and determine appropriate repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and electrical inspections as needed.
• Respond to electrical service requests and emergency situations.
• Coordinate with management and maintenance team regarding repairs and timelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.
