Job summary

Taurus Industrial Group, LLC is seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team in Baton Rouge, LA. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings, reading blueprints and schematics to determine layouts.

You must have an apprenticeship or equivalent, a valid electrician license (Journeyman or NCCER), and a TWIC card, with strong problem solving, safety discipline, and ability to work independently or in a crew.

Qualifications

• Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience as an electrician.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics.
• Experience working with logic controllers and industrial electrical systems is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
• Familiarity with NEC standards and safety regulations related to electrical work.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and team members.
• A valid electrician's license is required.
• Must have journeyman or NCCER licence
• MUST HAVE A TWIC card
