Job summary

Baumgartner's Electric, Inc is seeking a skilled Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our Sioux Falls team. You will install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings with a focus on safety and quality craftsmanship.

You will read blueprints, diagnose faults, and lead apprentices on job sites while maintaining thorough documentation of materials and work performed.

Qualifications

• Licensed Journeyman Electrician required.
• Experience across Residential/Commercial/Industrial settings preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install systems: wire and hook up electrical systems, panels, breakers, transformers, conduits and lighting fixtures.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems using testing tools like multimeters.
• Read blueprints and schematics to plan layouts.
• Maintain safety in accordance with NEC and local regulations.
• Lead apprentices and provide on-the-job training.
• Maintain accurate logs of materials used and work completed daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Read Blueprints: Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to plan out system layouts.
• Maintain Safety: Ensure all work strictly complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
• Lead Apprentices: Provide guidance and on-the-job training to apprentice electricians on your job sites.
