Job summary

Multicultural Alliance Health Care Solutions, Inc. (MAHCS) is a Broward County behavioral health agency delivering culturally competent mental health services to diverse residents.

We seek a licensed clinician to conduct intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with healthcare providers to ensure quality services in a bilingual setting. Florida-licensed LCSW/LMHC/LMFT is required, with at least 2 years in a behavioral health role.

Qualifications

• Active Florida license: LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in behavioral health.
• Ability to complete intake, treatment plans, and documentation accurately.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 2-5 intake assessments (facesheet, biopsychosocial, treatment plan, CFARS/FARS, GAD-7, PHQ-9) per week.
• Develop initial treatment plans in collaboration with clients and healthcare providers.
• Complete intake paperwork within 24-48 hours in compliance with CMS and AHCA standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure clients receive high-quality, coordinated care.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

(MAHCS) is a behavioral health agency that provides high-quality, culturally competent mental and behavioral health services to residents of Broward County in South Florida. MAHCS provides an array of services to all with special attention to individuals from underserved populations, especially those in need of services in their own language. Note: You must have an active LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC license in Florida for this position
Key Responsibilities:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a behavioral health setting.
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with clients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.
• Bilingual skills in English, Spanish, and/or Creole required.
