Qualifications

• Active Virginia Property & Casualty insurance license required.
• Previous insurance sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and closing skills.
• Confidence making outbound calls and speaking with prospective customers.
• Self-motivation, accountability, and a competitive mindset.
• Ability to stay organized, manage follow-ups, and meet performance expectations.
• Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, and sales technology.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and improve.

Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective customers through inbound inquiries, outbound calls, referrals, and provided leads.
• Identify customer insurance needs and explain available coverage options.
• Prepare and present competitive quotes for auto, home, renters, and other insurance products.
• Follow up consistently with prospects to convert quotes into new business.
• Identify cross-selling and bundling opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer and prospect information in agency systems.
• Work toward established monthly sales and production goals.
• Deliver professional, responsive service throughout the sales process.
