Job summary

The Bloom Agency in Kansas City is hiring a Licensed Insurance Sales Agent to serve families in MO and KS. You will actively engage with prospective clients, identify needs, offer competitive quotes, and close the deal for home, auto, and life insurance.

You will learn to write policies and participate in ongoing training, with growth opportunities within a national brand and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Property & Casualty and Life licenses for MO and KS; company pays training.
• Ability to identify and communicate cross-selling opportunities with each lead.
• Receptiveness to feedback and applying coaching.
• Proven ability to guide conversations toward closing a sale.

Responsibilities

• Develop insurance quotes, present proposals, and close sales.
• Build relationships with real estate agents, lenders, title companies, auto dealers, etc.
• Process policy changes and Evidence of Insurance requests.
• Take premium payments from customers.
• Solicit referrals and explain referral program.
• Answer high-volume inbound calls and manage messages promptly.
• Prospect and generate new business through leads and referrals.
• Generate insurance quotes.
