Job Description

The CommonWealth Initiative (CWI) seeks a licensed, self-motivated insurance professional to join our rapidly expanding brokerage team. This role is ideal for a dynamic, entrepreneurial agent passionate about helping clients protect their futures and meet their financial goals. Using CWI’s resources and network, you’ll have the support you need to drive success, grow your business, and surpass your sales targets. Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Building: Develop leads and grow your client portfolio by networking, securing referrals, cold calling, and utilizing other innovative marketing strategies.
  • Client Needs Assessment: Identify and assess clients’ insurance needs, financial goals, and risk profiles by conducting personalized consultations.
  • Carrier Communication: Act as a liaison with various insurance carriers on behalf of clients.
  • Underwriting & Application Processing: Complete and submit insurance applications to secure underwriting approvals.
  • Policy Delivery & Follow-up: Ensure timely policy delivery, plan follow-up visits, and continuously evaluate evolving client needs.
  • Professional Development: Maintain up-to-date knowledge by engaging in continuing education, networking, and professional organizations.
  • Record Management: Oversee electronic and paper records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and contracting requirements.
Requirements

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Background in insurance, finance, sales, or a related field preferred.
  • Technology Skills: Proficient with MS Office, Zoho CRM software, and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
