Role Description

This full-time Licensed Insurance Agent role is a hybrid position based in Charlotte, NC, with a mix of in-office and work-from-home flexibility. The agent will advise individuals, families, and businesses on appropriate insurance coverage, including auto, home, life, and commercial policies, based on their needs and risk profiles. Day-to-day responsibilities include generating new business, preparing quotes, and building a referal network. The agent will also collaborate with carrier partners, stay current on industry regulations and products, and follow agency processes to ensure accurate documentation and compliance.

This job is a heavily compensated commission position, including a base salary and beneifts including 401k and medical. Our commission structure is geared to pay producers the highest new written premiuem in the industry.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding production goals.
• Strong Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and proactive follow-up.
• Current state insurance license (Property & Casualty required; Life & Health license preferred).
• Comfort using agency management systems, CRM tools, and standard office software.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time well, and prioritize multiple client needs.
• Previous experience in an independent insurance agency or brokerage environment is beneficial.
