Job summary

The Richard Group Agency in Renton, WA seeks a licensed insurance sales professional to convert leads into policies and build a lasting book of business. You will generate new business from agency-provided leads and your own network, aiming for a self-sustaining pipeline.

This role offers base pay plus uncapped commission, team bonuses, health/dental/vision coverage, and ongoing training. You’ll utilize social media and relationships to drive referrals within a compliant framework.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required or willingness to obtain within 30 days
• Demonstrated success in a sales role with outbound or self-sourced production
• Life & Health Insurance License preferred or willingness to obtain
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding production goals
• Comfortable with cold outreach and consistent follow-up

Responsibilities

• Contact and convert agency-provided leads promptly, following speed-to-lead standards
• Run full discovery on every prospect to uncover auto, property, and life insurance needs
• Quote, present, overcome objections, and close new business
• Meet or exceed monthly new business production goals
• Build and maintain a center-of-influence (COI) network with realtors, lenders, auto dealers, financial advisors and other referral partners
• Ask for referrals at point of sale and policy delivery, maintaining a follow-up rhythm
• Engage on social media to build brand presence and generate referral opportunities while complying with guidelines
• Maintain accurate activity and pipeline records in the agency CRM
